5 Scholarships ALL Students Can Apply For

A lot of students aren’t eligible for most scholarships because they simply don’t meet the scholarship criteria – either they don’t live in the right state, aren’t a member of the right organization, don’t have the right college major, etc.

However, there are general scholarships. General scholarships are for everyone; regardless of your current situation or major, these scholarships help all types of students afford college.

Below are 10 scholarships that ALL students can apply for:

1. ScholarshipPoints.com 10,000 Scholarships

ScholarshipPoints does monthly drawings for scholarships. All you have to do is fill out THIS FORM, and you can enter your name into the contest. 2. Horatio Alger Association

These scholarships are awarded to students with critical financial need and who have demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity. Students must have a 2.0 GPA or higher and be a US citizen. This association award 100 – $10,000 scholarships and 150 – $1,000 scholarship annually to high school seniors. 3. Discover Card Tribute Award

This scholarship is awarded to college bound high school students with special talents, who have overcome an obstacle, performed community service, or have extensive leadership skills. All applicants must have a 2.75 GPA or higher. CLICK HERE for more information.

4. AXA Achievement Scholarship Program

This scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in non-academic activities at school, in the community or at their job. Applicants must be US citizens or legal residents to qualify for scholarships of $25,000, $10,000 and $2,000. CLICK HERE for more information.

5. KFC Colonel’s Scholars Program

Scholarships awarded by this program provide funding for tuition, fees, books, & room and board. Awards can be up to $5,000 each year. Applicants must attend a public in-state college or university. CLICK HERE for more information.
