Creative College Fundraising Ideas

One of the best ways to meet new people and stay active during your first year of college is to get involved with different extra curricular activities. Whether you choose to participate in athletics, student clubs, volunteer organizations, or any other group or cause, it is likely that at some point you will need some good fundraising ideas.

By entering college with a few fundraising ideas under your belt, you’ll be well on your way to helping to support whatever groups or activities you may become involved with during the next four years.

The best fundraisers utilize materials you already have or can obtain very inexpensively. For example, T-shirt headbands have become a popular item to sell at fundraisers. They are simple to make, and are a great way to recycle old t-shirts.

Participating in different clubs and causes is a great way to get involved with your school and surrounding community when starting college. Fundraising can be a great way to use your creativity to support a cause you feel strongly about.

T-shirt headbands are only one type of recycled craft you can make. Coasters cut out of recycled fabric samplers are also an inexpensive and easy item to sell when raising money.

There is no right or wrong way to fundraise, the important part is getting involved!
