Top 10 Holiday Gifts (Under $30) For Fitness Lovers: Part 2

Welcome to the second article on health and fitness gifts for this holiday season. To see the first post click here. Every item that I have found is under $30 so you can stay on budget and get present for those health and fitness nuts on your list.

Staying on budget is key as a college student without much money to spare, but I am always up to a good challenge. Here are the second 5 of my top 10 gifts I have found.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Happy shopping!

#6: Herb Mill $19.95
herb millThis Microplane Herb Mill can be found at William and Sonoma (who has free holiday shipping online!). This gift would be great for the chef in your friend group. Just by placing your wanted herbs in the mill, such as mint or rosemary, the blades mince the herbs quickly and efficiently.

Not only will this mill save time, but it will use as much of the herbs as possibly, do ensure money saving. Countless times I chop my dry herbs and they go everywhere, and I lose half the product. With this herb mill it will not happen. Plus, this handy little gadget is dishwasher safe. An easy clean up will make an chef happy.

#7: Get Burning Tea $12

This warming tea also has organic green rooibos base, which is from the Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Now you can feel good about saving the earth as well! This tea “stimulates the body without taxing our vital systems.” Sounds like an easy buy to me.

#8: Brita Filtered Personal Water Bottle  $9

What is better yet is these are BPA plastic free and can go in the dishwasher. Replace the filter every few months. There is also a kids size, a great gift for the little munchkin in your family.

edible arrangementBefore you think that the price is $5 above your $30 budget, do not fret! There is a coupon offered by RetailMeNot for $5 off your order before 12/31/12.

This edible arrangement called Luminous Daisy is a fresh fruit display with daisy shaped pineapples. There is also cantaloupe, honeydew melon, grapes and strawberries. This is a great gift to send someone who you won’t be with for the holiday season, or who lives far away.

As I spent time compiling this list I ended up buying a few of these for my friends and roommates. I hope you all enjoy these gifts for you, your friends or your family. I am sure they will love whatever you pick out for them.
